EVENT FAQS

How do I book an event? New clients: All new clients are required to book events through Peerspace. The complete payment for your event is required upon booking. Return Clients: Returning clients may book events directly with us. A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to secure your time slot. No events are confirmed until the deposit has been received. The remaining balance, and security deposit, is due when you arrive on the day of your event.

What forms of payment are accepted? New Clients: All payment will be sent via card through the Peerspace app. Return clients: We accept Zelle, Apple Pay, cashapp, or you can stop by the space in person at an agreed upon time and pay via cash or card.

What is the hourly rate? Events are priced based on the number of people attending the event. Rates start at $50/hr. You will also be required to pay a refundable cleaning fee which is returned the following morning as long as the space is left in its original condition (clean/undamaged).

What is the capacity? 60 people.

Are there age restrictions? All ages are allowed. Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. The person booking must be 18+. If alcohol is being served, the person booking must be 21+. We reserve the right to terminate events without refund if underage drinking is occurring.

Is the recording studio included? Access to the recording studio is not included in event bookings. If you would like the recording studio open during your event, there is an additional $50/hr charge, which includes one of our engineers. If you do not need an engineer, a manager will remain on site to ensure the equipment is being used properly.

Can I smoke inside the space? Legal cannabis consumption is permitted inside the studio. Cigarette/tobacco smoking must be done outside. Hookah is not allowed. Illegal drugs, including noz tanks, are prohibited.

Do I need to provide security? We recommend using a security guard for larger parties where alcohol is being served. The front door to the building must remain closed at all times and locks automatically so you will either need to designate a door person or go downstairs to let your guests in as they arrive.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule my event? New Clients: Guests may cancel their Booking until 30 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 30 days and 7 days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund of their Booking Price. Cancellations submitted less than 7 days before the Event start time are not refundable. Events may be rescheduled *one time* if given 7 day notice. Returning Clients: All deposits are non-refundable. Events may be rescheduled *one time* if given 7 day notice.

What if I'm running late? The event time starts at the time you booked. No extra time will be given to events that start late. If the schedule permits, you may book additional time if you need it. Please let us know immediately if you know you will be late.

What do I need to bring on the day of the event? Bring your ID and refundable cleaning deposit. You will be required to sign a liability waiver upon arrival. You may decorate the space as long as you remove all decorations without damaging the walls or any other part of the facility. Glitter, confetti, silly string, and other messy materials are not allowed.

How loud can we get? There are no noise restrictions after 6PM on weekdays and all day/night on weekends.

How's the parking situation? There is street parking, which is free everyday after 6PM and all day on Sunday, and there are two public parking lots within one block. Please note that the parking lot directly across the street from the studio closes around 9PM. For metered street parking during the day, we recommend setting an alarm on your phone to avoid getting a ticket.

Can I bring my pet? We love pets, but unfortunately they are not allowed on the premises. Service animals with proper documentation are allowed. ESAs are not allowed.

Can I sell alcohol? No, our space is not permitted for alcohol sales. You may serve alcohol to 21+ guests. If alcohol is being served, you may not sell tickets or charge at the door.
